Our hands-on, lab-based courses take place at our world-class training center. The facility includes 17 clinical environment training and QA bays with 27 fully operational Siemens systems, two modern classrooms, and a cafeteria/kitchen area. During our courses, students engage in discussions, lectures, and labs centered on the core principles of equipment operation, configuration, troubleshooting, and repair of all primary system components.
What’s on the Training Schedule?
All in-person courses fall into one of five different categories: computed tomography, MRI, fluoroscopy, radiography, and angio/cath lab. Each course focuses on the maintenance requirements of a particular model or system family of Siemens imaging equipment.

Who Leads the Medical Imaging Training?
Directing our training team is Sam Darweesh, an experienced CT and MRI Senior Engineer. He has been in the medical imaging industry for 20+ years working with industry-leading CT and MRI manufacturers as well as major independent service organizations worldwide.
Our instructors, Joseph Sam and Rick Houska, both National Technical Support Engineers, bring with them extensive field service and support experience in the diagnostic imaging industry. Jill Rosio, our Training Coordinator, provides the organizational excellence necessary to deliver a smooth and productive training experience.
How Safe is In-Person BMET Training?
We know that in-person training is the best way to quickly expand a BMET’s knowledge base and help them retain the complex information necessary to maintain medical imaging equipment. However, we firmly believe that training needs should not take precedence over health and safety. That’s why we place the utmost importance on the health and safety of our employees, customers, and trainees who come to our facility.
Visitors to our training center will find we are following the CDC’s recommended guidelines for workplaces such as ours. Precautions we’ve taken include social distancing, PPE, cleaning and sanitization, individual meals, and staff wellness. We also encourage organizations to send only small groups of trainees and assess the current COVID-19 situation in order to make an informed decision about the right time to schedule training.
